Business in 5 years time?


I had a good conversation with a good friend of mine.

Was thinking about having our own business, dalam masa 5 tahun yang akan datang. Ye lah, mungkin dalam masa 5 tahun tuh, Hajar dah settle down. Dah Kawen (huhu, confirm belum lagiii nie mengikut keadaan skarang) so having own business ada la time dengan family.

So we plan to have this beautiful Hair Saloon (Basically, SHAMPOO-ing & Massaging only, nak pegi potong rambut, pegi kedai lain aaa! :p x reti nak potong rambut havoc2 nieh)

After talking about how to operate and get the specialist for the above mentioned, i start to question myself with these ..

1. Usually good business women/man yang sangat successful, they have passion in doing something that they like or hobby yang melampau2 yang nak di-sharekan dengan semua orang. Usually these type of people, business mereka last longer. So i asked myself "Apa yang hajar sangat passionate skarang nie?" jawapan dier "NONE! huhu"

2. Kalau nak dipikirkan hobby yang melampau, mestila mengikut keadaan semasa juga. Like for example, takkan laa hobby collect stamp dulu2 nak bukak kedai jual stamp skarang? Confirm tak logic dah kut because now, it is hard to sell those things because semua dah pakai email. Ataupun yang pakai2 chop2 tuh .. takde dah orang nak stamp2 nieh .. Invitation for weddings pun dah pakai youtube. Facebook. Mana stamp nya? huhu

There's this big company yang i salut la dulu but now went down to the drain which is KODAK FILM. They were sooo good back in the 90's where they were the god la! They were in denial skarang whereby skarang sapa yang guna film sangat? Mungkin aunty2 yang takde digital camera la kut. They are still in that phase, nak maintan guna film. Tak nak move dengan zaman yang bertechnology ini. Huhu. Sayang la sangat. Dulu2 masa nak beli film orang mesti cakap "pa, jangan lupa pegi beli kodak" eventhough bukan Kodak yang dibeli.

Satu lagi Malaysian Company which was my favourite until the day i tasted something yucky!
Strudels They were sooo good!! BUT skarang nie, quality control takde. They don't maintain 'that' quality and now they are in deep shit! Sayang sangat. Nak carik strudels skarang cuma kat Bangsar je ahh .. that's the only shop left kut ..

I used to think that tag line for certain product tu sangat penting. I respect Haagen Dazs which before this i tak pikir yang mereka nie will last until today because i rasa ice cream dierorang nie mahal. But the tag line says "Expensive but affordable" or something like that laa.. To compare, ice cream yang RM2-3 ngan Ice Cream mereka nie confirm aa mahal. But they are targeting that Niche Market. I know they definately takkan turunkan harga mereka because they are not going for the masses. They maintain the quality and the environment for the Niche and surprisingly they are at the top of the market.

So back to the story, Business apa yang boleh IN skarang nie? huhu
